Kerkhoff has over the years constructed many churches, and it is still one of our specialties. On the Surrey Korean Presbyterian Church Kerkhoff acted as the project manager as well as the general contractor, with full responsibility to select all consultants, all planning, budgeting, assisting in obtaining financing, as well as all equipment and furnishing. A complete parking lot satisfying the needs of the church was also part of the project.
The sanctuary consists of approximately 500 seats on the main level, with full dining room and kitchen facilities, meeting rooms and class rooms at the basement level. The design is a unique timber and masonry structure designed by Lubor Trubka Architects.
Presently the second phase for the project, a 65 unit retirement facility is in the planning stages.
