One Water Street Milestone & Lunch Box Challenge, Kelowna

It was a big milestone last Friday, May 8th in Kelowna at our One Water Street Towers. Construction crews spent all Friday from 3:00 am to 4:00 pm pouring 2,200 cubic meters of concrete, forming the base of the second tower of One Water Street.

A big shout out to the trades on-site and the Kerkhoff Construction team who executed this monumental pour, with over 30 Burnco concrete trucks revolving from various plants from across the Okanagan. We continue to make excellent progress with the tallest development in the Okanagan – with 33 of the 36 floors completed in Tower One.

As part of this big day, Kerkhoff took part in the Lunch Box challenge; where they purchased 200 meals from the nearby Train Station Pub and Soul de Cuba for their on-site workers. This served as a dual purpose of both thanking all the trades for their hard work, and supporting the local restaurants during these unprecedented times with COVID-19.
